Terms of Service

These terms are governed by Dutch law. A Dutch version (Nederlandstalige versie) is available at info@lex-aero.eu.


1. Service description

lex-aero is an AI-powered research tool that helps aviation professionals search and understand ICAO, EASA, and national aviation regulations. The service is operated by Projectus B.V. (hereinafter "lex-aero", "we", "us").

2. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. Important disclaimer — not legal advice

lex-aero provides research assistance only. Answers generated by the AI are for informational purposes and do not constitute legal advice. Always verify information against official regulatory sources (EASA, ICAO, national authorities) and consult qualified legal counsel for formal interpretations or compliance decisions.

Regulation texts in the knowledge base may be outdated. lex-aero makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or currency of the information provided.

4. Permitted use

You may use lex-aero for lawful professional research purposes. You must not:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying knowledge base at scale
  • Share account credentials with others (each seat is personal)
  • Use automated queries to exceed your plan's rate limits
  • Redistribute AI-generated answers as authoritative regulatory guidance without attribution

5. Accounts and access

Access to lex-aero is currently invite-only during the beta period. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately at info@lex-aero.eu if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Subscription and payments

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are in EUR, excluding VAT. Payment is processed via Mollie. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods unless required by Dutch consumer law.

7. Intellectual property

The lex-aero platform, its design, and the curation of its knowledge base are the intellectual property of lex-aero. Regulation texts are owned by their respective issuing authorities (EASA, ICAO, Dutch government) and are subject to their own usage terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, lex-aero is not liable for:

  • Decisions made based on AI-generated answers
  • Loss of business, revenue, or data
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Inaccuracies in regulation content

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from account settings or by emailing info@lex-aero.eu.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
